Legal Entity Merger

On October 1, 2020, LANXESS Solutions US Inc. together with our subsidiary Great Lakes Chemical Corporation will be merged into the US parent company LANXESS Corporation, in a two-step process.  This change does not represent a change in ownership, but does result in other system changes.

Tax Exemption Certificates
Customers who have provided US tax exemption certificates (TECs) need to update them to reflect the name LANXESS Corporation for all US states where business is conducted with you. This is a legal requirement to protect the tax exempt nature of your financial transactions with us.

Changes to Remittance Details
All invoices generated by LANXESS Solutions, now through September 29, 2020, shall be paid to our LANXESS Solutions bank accounts.  After the merger on October 1, 2020, the new remittance instructions will apply.

Associated LANXESS Corporation bank account information will be provided to you prior to the legal entity merger.

Contracts
Existing contracts remain in effect as they are not impacted by the legal entity structural changes.
