Rhein Chemie to Present at 2010 ACS Rubber Expo

Presentation to highlight new developments in environmentally-friendly accelerators

Rhein Chemie Corporation will showcase its expertise in rubber and polymer technology at the American Chemical Society’s threeday Technical Meeting and Rubber Expo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from October 12 –14, 2010, with a technical presentation and booth.

Steven Monthey, Senior Application Specialist, will present a paper entitled, Designing Next Generation Accelerators for Environmental Requirements as well as Performance Criteria on Wednesday, October 13, at 4:15 p.m. (session C). Monthey’s presentation will illustrate the vast potential of Rhein Chemie’s Rhenocure® SDT/S accelerator as an alternative to DPG in various rubber-based compounding applications.

Rhein Chemie Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LANXESS Corporation and a supplier of products and services for the polymer and chemical processing industries, will highlight its preweighed batch-ready cure systems, specialty polymer-bound cure systems, and broad range of performance chemicals for the rubber industry in booth 210 of the Expo.

Additionally, Jonathon Nienaber, Technical Service Representative for Rhein Chemie, will moderate the 7th Annual Student Colloquium Sessions held on Wednesday, October 13.
